Spayed female Terrier mix 1 year old, current weight 24 lbs. I adore other dogs and would benefit immensely from living with another canine, as I gain confidence when I'm with other dogs. I am very playful so I enjoy toys and running and wrestling with my pup friends. Because I can be timid I will benefit from classes to help me gain some confidence. I'm approved for very respectful children aged 6 and up and will be a great addition to a gentle and loving family! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Adoption Process
We do not do same-day adoptions. In order for an application to be approved, all animals in the home must be up to date on routine vaccinations, we must receive approval from the landlord or be able to verify home ownership. We also require the consent of all adults in the home. Ideally, all members of a household will meet an animal before adoption, but in cases where that is not possible, verbal consent is acceptable. Once approved, when adopting a dog, we require that any other dogs in the household come to the shelter to do a supervised interaction with the adoptable dog. Adoption fees are as follows: Dogs under 6 months: $150 Dogs 6 months and over: $125 Cats under 6 months: $95 Cats 6 months and over: $80 Rabbits: $25 Ferrets: $55 Parakeets: $15 Rats, Hamsters, Gerbils: $5 Finches & Canaries: $10 Mice: $3 Cockatiels: $50 Guinea Pigs: $12 Chinchillas: $50 Pigs: $100
