Isla 6mo old female Heeler mix Isla, the adorable 6-month-old heeler mix and is just as beautiful as her name suggests! She came to us as an abandoned puppy and is slow to trust., With some patience and understanding, she'll warm up to you and become your most loyal companion. Isla has already mastered the art of being housebroken and crate trained, which shows just how smart she is! Isla has been in a foster home and is learning to trust again. Her gentle and kind spirit will blossom with a patient and kind owner. She loves to go for hikes with her fur friends and play in the backyard. Isla would definitely need another dog in the home as a BFF and to learn from. Can you be that person to turn things around for this sweet pup? Adoption Process
I drive 30-50 dogs to WI every month to find homes. There are too many dogs in my area to even think about an adoption fee. People see the dogs on petfinder (currently) do an application, my adoption coordinator approves applications, all dogs are fully vetted for their age and altered.
