Meet Hank

Meet Hank, a four year old cuddlebug who still thinks he is a puppy. Hank will be happiest in a home where his humans will provide him with plenty of playtime with other dogs, either in a home with young dog siblings or through many trips to the dog park.  Hank still has tons of energy and will be an excellent big brother to a dog who craves lots of play time. Hank loves to snuggle and watch TV with his humans, so he will also be happiest in a home that also allows him on the furniture. Hank is a little shy at first and will require some time and patience to fully open up to his new family. Once he feels comfortable Hank will be very loyal to his people and protective of his home. After an adjustment period Hank will love to play with toys. He especially enjoys chewing on Nylabones and carrying his stuffed toys around the house.  Hank can be nervous and skittish around larger groups of people and loud noises. He will not enjoy trips to sporting events, parties or fireworks. A quieter home without a lot of new people coming in and out all day will be much easier for Hank. Hank will require training to walk on leash. He is a remarkably strong dog for his relatively small size. He is learning to walk on a gentle leader, which helps tremendously with his pulling.  Hank is a wonderful dog who needs someone who will be patient enough to really win his trust. Once he settles in and warms up to you he will show you his whole adorable, playful, snuggly personality. Please visit our web site at 4theloveofdog.org for all adoption information
