Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement and the animal has received its NH health certificate an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Our descriptions are based on shelter evaluations, input from foster homes and interactions with our volunteers but are in no way a guarantee of temperment. Please know we practice Covid-19 guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing. Only approved applicants are allowed to meet our dogs outdoors. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
we prefer to match our pet to the best home rather than first come, first serve. review applications, interview applicant, call landlord if applicable. cal vet to determine previous pets care. call two personal references. conduct a virtual or in person home visit. set up meet and greet with entire family. If all goes well an adoption contract is signed. adoption fees are 100. cats, 175 kittens, 450 adult dogs, 500 puppies. our cats are adopted as indoor cat only. Since we will primarily have great pyrenees and pyr mixes we strongly suggest fenced yards, no apartments and experience with strong dominant breeds.
