Meet Max

We are looking for a specific home for our special needs boy, Max. Max is Border Collie mix at around one-year-old and unfortunately has several eye issues causing him to be mostly blind. He is looking for a foster-to-adopt home that has some flexibility to bring him to an Ophthalmologist in April, about ninety minutes from the shelter, as we want to see exactly what we can do to help his medical needs. This will be paid for by the shelter while he is in his foster-to-adopt home. He has done well with dogs and cats in the past, but his new home should be on the quieter side as too much action on top of his disability has shown to stress him out. He is a wonderful boy that just needs some stability in his life so he can live life to the fullest and be comfortable in his surroundings.
