Mission Statement: Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused dogs. By working with committed volunteers, already established veterinarians and trainers, we will nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes. Our Vision: Our vision is to decrease the amount of dogs put to death every year, and prevent cruelty and suffering to all animals. Through humane education via our resources and educational classes, we aim to increase public awareness regarding the over population of adoptable animals in municipal shelters and beyond, and to that end we are firmly committed to:-Rescuing dogs from municipal shelters that are in danger of being euthanized-Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, including spaying and neutering of companion animals and micro-chipping pets-Advocating for animals through political participation with our Community representatives

 IN VERMONT - AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT!  Meet Thor! https://youtu.be/vXyzhfOBtig Thor is almost 3 years old, male (approx. DOB 7-27-21), 60 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and microchipped. In his current host home Thor is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, crate-trained (likes it), potty-trained (will whine to go out), is a quieter boy, and has medium energy. Thor is an amazing dog, very well trained, and very loving and cuddly! Although he loves children he would do best in a home with bigger children due to his playful energy and size (children have a different energy and they are fun to play with). He knows commands: Sit, Hold (stay), Up, Come; he sits and will wait for permission with his food! Thor thinks he is a lap dog and is very sweet! Adoption Process
Applicants fill out an application and, once thoroughly checked, referenced, and approved, are invited to meet the dogs they have interest in. All dogs are in foster homes. Once they have met their match, they sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
