Mardi is a stray pup from AL who was lucky enough to find his way to an amazing rescue. His estimated date of birth is 1/15/23 and he weighs about 12 lbs. We do not know his breed without a DNA test, but we had to select a breed to share his information in this website. He appears to be a small breed mix and we expect him to reach 35-40 lbs as an adult. Mardi is a playful and happy puppy who enjoys being held and loved. He is sharing his foster home with other dogs and thoroughly enjoys himself. He's met cats and is also good with them. It's safe to say that Mardi loves everyone he meets. This adorable puppy is young so he's working on his housebreaking and crate training skills. We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available. HIGHLIGHTS: - Friendly - Well socialized - Curious - Working on housebreaking skills - Working on crate training skills - Affectionate & Cuddly - Enjoys playing with other dogs - Up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines - Has not been neutered yet* * Based on current veterinary recommendations, Mardi has not been neutered due to his young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian. Our adoption fee is $400 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro-chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided.
