Meet Duke

Duke is a happy go lucky, wiggly, love bug of a boy!! He loves to play and wrestle; he would be perfect as a puppy sibling with other pets but would also do well as an only dog with human siblings!   He is very responsive, good/treat motivated and knows his commands - sit, lay down, on your bed, get down, come, and we are working on stay.  He is housebroken and sleeps through the night.    Duke is in a home with 3 kids ages 7-13 and a 2-year-old 4TheLoveofDog alum.  He has been socialized with larger dogs as well as a small Pomeranian.  He is respectful and wants to play with everyone and anyone, frequently showing his belly for belly rubs or rolling around together in the grass.   He does great on car rides, typically sitting on a lap but is happy to lay by someone’s feet.  He has been to hockey and lacrosse games and loves all the attention he gets.   Duke is looking to be your best friend and playmate!!  He is being fostered in CT and open for visits! .  Please visit our web site at 4theloveofdog.org for all adoption information
