Meet Sheila Roo

Looking for the easy dog? That's me! My foster mom says I'm the perfect size, energy, and temperament for a dog. I'm just the sweetest girl who loves pets, people, dogs, cats, everyone! Sheila Roo is my name and I’m a 1 year old female shepherd mix. I weigh about 45lbs and am mostly full grown. I have shorter legs, so I’m on the smaller side for a shepherd mix. I love to play with other dogs of all sizes and types. I’m great with cats as well, only giving them the occasional sniff. I’m a star when it comes to housetraining with no accidents in my foster home, and I’m doing well in my crate, I just can't have any plush beds or toys to chew in there. I’m quiet all night and can’t wait to snuggle with my humans in the morning. I’m really a pretty calm and quiet girl and after a little play time with my dog friends or humans I’m ready to nap the day away. My foster mom is teaching me basic commands, as no one has ever taught me before! I learned “sit” within a day and am working on “down” and “touch”, but someone who would keep teaching me would be amazing! I’m good on a leash as I’m pretty eager to please and just want to hang out with you. My foster mom thinks that I either haven’t seen kids before or didn’t have the best experience with the kids I’ve met so far as at first I was just not sure about my foster kiddos. I mainly avoided them and watched from afar, as they are unpredictable and scary! But I quickly learned that they also like to share treats and pets and now I love them and have met lots more kids with no issues. A family with dog savvy kids is probably best though since I'm still learning. My foster mom says I am such a good girl already and could be a great dog for a family who wants to shower me with love!
