Meet Greta

Way back in 2008 we saw this very pregnant pup wondering around the Belhaven neighborhood in Jackson. The pup was in bad shape and it was clear she was trying desperately to find shelter so she could settle in and have her babies. Well, ARF took her the ranch, gave her a nice warm bed and a BIG bowl of food. It wasn't 15 minutes after she arrived that she went into labor. That was November 21, 2008…. can you remember where you were in November 2008? Seems like a long time ago, doesn't it…. and it seems like an especially long time to still be at the ranch. Most of this litter has since been adopted, but two sweet dogs have been looked over time and time again. Meet Greta, a sweet and gorgeous pup. Ever since she was born at the shelter she constantly looks for someone to take her home. Greta has had 3 birthdays with us, and each year we wish that she could have a family that would spoil her on her birthday, and love her every day in between. Her birthday is coming up…. again….. and we fear that, again, she will spend it without a family. Greta is approximately 45 pounds, spayed, and up to date on shots. She is shy at first, but it doesn't take long for her to open up and show you just how wonderful and sweet she is. She loves to walk and does very well on a leash. Please consider giving Greta the very best birthday present this year: a home.
