We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hello I am Oreo  I am getting used to my new life  My life was not easy before so I am a bit timid at first until I know you will love me  I am learning about potty rules and that I don't need to guard my food  There will always be enough for me to eat now  I need another social dog in the home  I love other dogs  I need a secure fenced yard as I am good at escaping  Can you help me with my new life?  My name is Oreo and I weigh about 8 pounds  I am about 5 months old and my adoption fee is $600 plus tax of $27 for a total of $627   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental if needed and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
