Doberman Rescue Minnesota

Doberman Rescue Minnesota (DRM) is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501(c)(3) rescue organization that was founded in 2000. Dobermans in our program always live in private homes with foster families so we can provide the best care possible and make recommendations on the best type of forever home. We care about the quality of life for all Dobermans as we do our own dogs. In 2015 alone, DRM placed over eighty Dobermans in loving forever homes – our biggest year to date! Our mission is to mission rescue and re-home abandoned, neglected and abused Dobermans in need and educate the public about the Doberman breed.

Meet Sunny - Forever Foster

Sunny was surrendered to DRM in 2018 after her owner passed away and has been loved by her foster mom since then. Sunny is a smart girl and knows all of her basic commands. She also lets you know when she must go outside by pawing at your hand and giving you a quick kiss. She loves to run around in the yard and when she’s tired out, she wants to rest by your side.   Sunny wants nothing more than to be by your side and craves attention. Her foster reports that she just wants to be loved and feel safe!  Please read all adoption steps and policies carefully on our website. http://dobermanrescueminnesota.com/adoption-steps/ Qualified adopters are within the approved adoption area, and Adopter will be requested to visit this foster dog at the foster family home. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN. All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Process
Applicants must fill out the pre adoption application - $25 non refundable fee Once approved, a home visit will be conducted If approved from the home visit, they are then set to meet our available dogs Once matched with the dog, the adoption fee is anywhere from $250-400 depending on the dog. The requirements are dependent on the dog - ie. no kids, need fence, no other dogs, etc There is an adoption contract in place

Look for other dogs for adoption!
