Meet MIA

Mia is a beautiful little Chihuahua 5-6 year old girl that is considered to be a Deer Head breed Chi. She weighs 7 pounds. She has come from a sad hoarding situation where 43 Chihuahuas were taken from a severely neglectful home environment where the house was condemned and deemed uninhabitable.  Despite all of this, the general temperament and demeanor of most of these Chihuahuas were overall nice and sweet but stressed from what they had just been living in.  Mia was probably the most fearful of the bunch and she has slowly been coming around as she has learned that the new humans in her life are kind and providing her with a clean home and good food and love.  We are getting her the medical attention for her hair loss from the fleas she was living with and are now gone.   She is working through feeling more comfortable in her new foster home and accepting the attention from new dogs there.  Mia is a quiet Chihuahua and not known to be an excessive barker at all.  She is sweet and just wants to be held and sitting on someone’s nice lap.   She loves being outside which we don’t think she ever was before and it appears that crawling on the grass with her belly rubbing on the ground is just  a new and wonderful experience.  She adores being held and giving her person kisses.  We know that this girl is going to be someone’s little Princess Mia one day soon.  Giving her a home filled with unconditional love is all that she wants in life.   If you can offer her a fairytale happily ever after ending, please email us at [email protected]   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
