Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue

We are a labrador retriever rescue that places labs and lab mixes in new homes. We do this because we love the lab breed and want to be sure dogs in need of a new home find the right home for them.

Meet Betty

Meet Betty! She is an adorable 4 month old Labrador retriever that came to Brookline through a collaboration with Justice Rescue. She came from a breeder that had too many dogs. Prior to going to her foster home, she had only lived in a kennel. Betty is your typical 4 month old puppy. She is doing great with potty training, and loves stuffies, squeaky toys, tennis balls, and chews. Betty is super friendly and loves everyone she meets. She doesn't hold back when it comes to giving out kisses to both humans and other dogs. She is good with other dogs and loves to play chase, tug, and keep away. Betty settles well in the house with two 40 minute walks a day. She is on supervised free roam in the house when someone is home, and sleeps through the night in a crate. Betty is not a fan of the crate during the day so she is looking for an adopter who is home more often than not and can continue her puppy training with her. You can learn more about Betty on her blog: https://brooklinelabrescue.org/blog/betty-3-chocolate-labrador-retriever-female-4-months-old-id3192/ PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue. For more information on this Lab, please contact [email protected].  If you are interested in adopting this Lab or any other Lab from our Rescue, please visit our Web site, www.brooklinelabrescue.org, for more information on our adoption process. If you need additional information about the adoption process or whether you are in our coverage area, please send an e-mail to our Rescue at [email protected] Even if you are not ready to adopt, you can still help us help our Labs! Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization funded entirely by donations. Donations are always needed to help with veterinary costs, transportation, and supplies for our dogs. For information on donating to BLRR please click here. Donations are accepted via PayPal or you can mail a check to: Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue, P.O. Box 638, Warrington, PA 18976-0638

Adoption Process
All applicants complete an application and have a home visit before being approved to adopt. Once approved to adopt, they wait to find the right dog for their family. They are required to sign a pre-adoptive agreement and keep the dog they are matched with for a 3 week pre-adoptive period. If all goes well during that period, they sign an adoption agreement and adopt the dog. The fees vary depending on the age and altered status of the dog. We do require all dogs to be altered if they are not already and require obedience training as well

Look for other dogs for adoption!
