Meet Athena

Meet Athena! Athena is a husky who was rescued from a puppy mill. She’s doing great in her foster home and loves to play with toys and gets very excited to go on walks (we’re still working on her zigzagging, but she’s not a horrible puller.) She gets along well with the other dogs and is respectful and submissive to them. She’s housebroken and not destructive. She has met cats and small dogs on leash and is curious but does not attempt to chase. She still gets a little nervous when you reach for her, presumably because of her bad experiences at the puppy mill. It might take her a while to get used to smaller, louder children, but she would just shy away and not hurt them. She has no behavioral issues with other dogs or humans (no resource guarding).
