Meet LIL MAC

Mighty Lil Mac is a Norfolk Terrier mix that is considered a senior and estimated to be 8-10 years of age.  At just 18 pounds this handsome little guy is waiting for a wonderful home and family that will love him and help him continue to put the past in his rearview mirror.  You see Mac was cruelly attacked by a big dog over a month ago and he was torn up pretty bad.  A good Samaritan learned of his horrible attack and the need for him to have a place to recover.  No owners seemed to be claiming to know him.  Lil Mac is a little skittish of being picked up because of the injury he sustained on his side.  All wounds are healing for him and we recently did a neuter and a dental and have him on some meds to help him heal faster.  This little guy is good with other dogs but cautious of course.  He likes people but he will freeze if you come up to him and start to pick him up.  We always say…”If only these creatures could speak”!  He seems to be pretty much housebroken when allowed in and he walks nicely on a leash.  He just needs a sweet home and to be inside a lot and not a kennel outside most of the day.   The lady who took him in has asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to help and we are doing just that.  We are paying vet bills and got him neutered and we are looking for a wonderful home that will let this little Toto looking boy named Might Lil Mac, heal more under a loving umbrella of humans that he can call “family”.  If you are interested please let us know!   [email protected]   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
