Meet PUPPY BRIGHTON

We are so happy to offer this bright little star of a girl puppy called Brighton.   This Great Pyr mix girl was born the middle of August to a Great Pyrenees mom and some unknown father who we think just might be a Collie mix.  She is a beautiful and soft furred girl who is already 20 pounds at 4.5 months of age.   Raised outside all her life until November 22nd, this girl has roughed it so to speak with her other 6 siblings who all came to Critter Cavalry Rescue and their foster homes just at the right time.  Temps had dropped and were nightly 15 degrees and they were living in a barn outside.  Now this white and light red beauty is living inside in the lap of luxury and discovering what a warmly heated house, good food always available and some really nice hugs and kisses and head rubs that exists in the world.  She is a very playful girl and is kind of quiet and keeps a little to herself.  She is not needy nor an attention or affection seeker at this point.  Just one week after coming from the outside home she was raised in (barn) she is observing what the human fosters are truly offering her.  She has a curiosity and brave spirit that doesn’t run when new noises or actions are being taken in her foster home.  When the other dogs ran from the gas blower that was being used, Miss Brighton was not scared at all and just sauntered over to see what all the noise was about.  No fear from this girl.  We would expect her to not react to a Fourth of July Fireworks show either. One of her fav sports in the backyard is playing with an oversized soccer ball and pushing it around and chasing.  She is discovering what fun is, what love is from real humans who are interested in her well-being and she has had one of her first ever baths.   Next is her spay appt. finishing all her shots and deworming and then off to a new home she will go!  We expect her to be ready on December 10th.  She is being crate trained (ohhhh that is scary to this free spirit) and she will need a fenced/totally secured yard at a new forever home.  Great Pyrs tend to roam a bit as this is part of their DNA.    If you are interested in this girl that gets along with everyone please let us know by emailing at [email protected] PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
