Lyka is a 2 year old female Husky mix. Lyka is unsure when in a new environment. Lyka takes her time getting to know you but can become engaging once comfortable with you. Lyka is food motivated and aims to please. She will benefit from obedience training once adopted. Not only to help her with her manners, but to also help boost her confidence and build the relationship with her new adopter. Lyka came to the shelter as a stray so we do not know how she will do with children or cats. She met another dog here at the shelter and she did well and was playful. A slow and controlled introduction would be best if you have a resident dog in the home. Visit the shelter during animal viewing hours to meet and apply on Lyka! Animal Viewing Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month) Tues & Thurs 1:30-7:00 Sat 10:00-2:00 (Closed on county observed holidays and holiday weekends.)
