Meet Morgana
MORGANA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Morgana Best Guess for Breed: Lab and terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of September 2024 SEX: Female Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 17 lbs as of 9/7/24 Gets Along With: Morgana is good with other dogs! We have tested her with some of the cats at the shelter and she did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that she could live with a cat, she has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack!We haven't seen her with kids but she can be tested. Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to escape! Special Adoption Considerations: After being rescued from the streets, she was very scared and shut down. However, she has been making great strides. We think Morgana would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to continue to build confidence. Morgana is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Morgana. I hail from a Puerto Rico shelter, where I didn't get to see enough of the world. I'm just a bigger old puppy and I want my own humans for long sniffy walks and romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. I want to make pup and people pals. I want to shine as an A+ student in dog school! But most of all I want to know where I belong, that I'm safe and loved, and upon whom to bestow my giant stockpile of adoring gazes and happy tail wags and cuddles. What do you say? Am I the companion you've been seeking? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.
