We are an organization who rescues pregnant dogs or mommy dogs who have just delivered in kill shelters or are found as strays. We raise the puppies and take care of the mommies in our volunteers homes. We take care of these puppies from the time they are born until they are placed. The mothers are fully vetted prior to their adoption. All of the adoption fees from the puppies often times go into the mother to get her healthy and ready for a new family.
Meet Whitney, 1 of Sadie Mae's 5 pups. Whitney is our mostly black gal but has a little bit of white under her chin and on her chest. She is sweet, loves to snuggle when being held, loves to play and romp with her siblings, and thinks the paper in the kennel system is to be played with. She will not do well with puppy pads as she will carry them around the house.
This litter of 5 consists of 4 girls and 1 boy. They are very easy to tell apart due to their colorings. Mama is a 45lb tall lean Hound mix, this is where the pups get the ears from. By the looks of the pups we think Dad had Lab in his mix. We estimate the pups to be 55-75 lbs full grown. They will be 8 weeks old on December 9th and then ready to find their furever family's. They have been dewormed every week since 2 weeks old with exception of the weeks they received the Neopar vaccine and DAPPCv vaccine. They had a clean checkup with our vet and had their microchip inserted and were give their first dose of Revolution topical preventative. The litter is currently being fostered in Mechanicsburg, PA
