Meet Itty Bitty 2023
ITTY BITTY is a teeny tiny chihuahua boy looking for a new home. This little guy tips the scales at about 5 lbs. He's about 5 years old. Itty Bitty is the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. He's good with other dogs and kitties and is best suited to a home with another playful small dog or kitty. Itty Bitty loves his toys. He is a bit timid but will bond closely to his human. He's best suited to a home with no small children or big dogs. Itty Bitty hasn't had the greatest life and his coat shows the effects of neglect and poor nutrition, but with good nutrition and flea treatment, his coat is starting to grow back. If you'd like to meet this pocket-sized cutie, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Itty Bitty at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-3 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care.
