Meet Lear

Lear and his friend Aggie  were abandoned in Menifee County and came to the shelter to recover.  Her was in terrible shape, couldn't walk and probably couldn't see as he had entropions in both eyes.   He almost presented with seizures but our vet learned that he has a parathyroid issue that resulted in a total lack of calcium in the blood.  We have treated him with Calcitriol and Pet Cal tablets and he is now raring to go, although this is something he will have to have for the rest of his life.  It is a joy to see him standing at the gate and let me tell you he is all about the food these days! Lear is now available for adoption to a good and loving home. If you have a lot of love to share with a best friend please adopt one of our wonderful pets. Adoption Process
$100 adoption fee for canines, $25 for felines. Contract required. Must be spayed/neutered before leaving.
