Critter Cavalry Rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?

Meet PUPPY JERICHO-THERAPY DOG POTENTIAL

My name is Jericho and I am a Lab/Heeler/Mountain Cur mix boy that was born October 24th and for months no one knew we even existed there in the barn.  Critter Cavalry got involved and late in January they took me and my siblings out of the barn and put us all in different foster homes so we could teach them how nice it is to be part of a home and family environment.  They are prepping me to be the perfect family pet. My coloring is black with brown brindle mixed with all the things that make me HANDSOME! My foster mom says that I am a great student that is fast to learn and she has already taught me so much.  As of May 1st I am a boy that weighs 45 pounds and will probably top out at 55-60 as an adult dog.  My favorite thing to do is to run and play with my toys (I entertain myself) and carry them around in my mouth. I toss each fun toy in the air and then I catch it and then try to find the squeaker to make that noise that us dogs love.    I really do make my foster mom laugh a lot.   I adore her too.  She has twin granddaughters who are 3 years old and I am learning how to be perfect around them.  Not too rambunctious and more easy going around them.  Miss Juli, my foster mom, says I have a fabulous personality and am a comedian in training!  I have a lively imagination and am very curious and will sniff every corner of the house or yard to investigate who has been there or what is in the food closet. After I have run around for a while I will go and lay at the feet of Miss Juli for some quiet time that she really loves to have with me.  I sometimes lay my head in her lap while she is watching a movie and I like to tell her how much I appreciate her with that certain look in my eyes.  I really owe her a lot for making me a better dog every day.  She say that I could be a good therapy dog or PTSD companion.   I never meet a stranger and I like all the animals I meet….dogs and her cat!  I live with dogs of all ages and sizes.  I need a fenced yard and I hope that you will continue my training and education on all the good things a dog needs to learn to be the best they can be.  I am very smart and I want to learn something every day.  So… what do you think?  Want to give me a chance to make you laugh every day and then have me put my head in your lap and tell you how much I love you with my eyes?  I can do that right now… today or tomorrow or next week. Just say when and email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected]  They will get right back to you! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact [email protected].
