Meet DJ Jazzy Jasmine

DJ Jazzy Jasmine is the life of the party and friend to all! She is a one-year-old, 40 pound shepherd mix who loves other dogs, does well with cats, and hasn’t met a single human stranger. DJ Jazzy Jasmine is housebroken, is doing well going to her crate and learning it’s not horrible to be there, and love-love-loves playing with a ball (ChuckIt! balls are her fave). She has an expressive face as sweet and funny as her personality, loves the water, and will have you laughing at her silly antics all day long. Apply to be DJ Jazzy Jasmine’s forever family! 

Adoption Process
Applicants must fill out an application at www.adoptapitrescue.org/apply. We screen all applications, with approved applicants passing a vet and landlord check. All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccinations and on year-round heartworm preventative. Non-homeowners must have permission from their landlord to have a dog. Once approved, we schedule a home visit, where an adoption representative takes the dog to the adopter's home to see if the dog is a good fit for the family and other pets, as well as verify the home is a safe environment for the dog. If everyone feels the dog is a good fit, a contract is signed, adoption fee is paid, and the family takes possession of the dog, unless other arrangements are made. Typical adoption fees are $175 for adult dogs and $200 for puppies. We reserve the right to charge different fees for "designer" breeds. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested, and on heartworm preventative at the time of adoption. All dogs have been examined by our veterinarian and given a clean bill of health at the time of adoption.
