Meet Peanut

Meet Peanut, a sweet 10lbs, 2-year-old female believed to be a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. She is a timid and shy girl who will take some time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she will shower you with love and affection. She loves to be with her humans and being held is her favorite thing in the world. Peanut is a true lap dog and enjoys cuddling up with her foster parents in bed. She gets along well with larger dogs, but her exposure to cats is unknown. She also does very well with her 9- and 13-year-old human siblings. She is potty trained when kept on a schedule and is currently working on kennel training. Peanut has not shown any destructive behavior towards belongings and is a well-behaved little lady. She will require grooming approximately every 6-8 weeks if you want to keep her hair on the shorter side. If you are looking for a loyal and loving companion who will always be by your side, Peanut is the perfect match for you. Come meet Peanut and give her the loving home she deserves.  If you are interested in meeting Peanut, please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines.
