Roo is a 1.5-year-old, 51 lb., female, Pitbull Terrier. She is a beautiful girl that has some faint brindle colors to her coat that you can easily see in person. Overall, she is very well behaved, but she is a bit timid in new to her situations. Roo kennels well and is house trained. She is the sweetest pup who absolutely LOVES her people. Roo's favorite things are snuggling on the couch, playing with her 2 foster pup siblings, and chewing on bones. She was surrendered to a local vet clinic due to her being a danger to the cat in the home she was living in. Roo has a strong prey drive, so she needs a home with no cats. Their quick movements would be too much for Roo. She is starting day camp two days a week for 4 weeks with one-on-one lessons on November 26 at Woof Pack Resort and Spa in Johnston. This is to help Roo with her timidness and work on her leash skills when meeting other dogs. If you are interested in meeting Roo please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $250 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines.
