Meet Astro! Astro is a loyal and intelligent Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler mix looking for a loving forever home. He is approximately 3 years old. Astro requires an experienced owner.  Australian Cattle Dogs are highly social and form strong bonds with their human families. Archie does well with other dogs here at the shelter . If you have a dog at home, we would do a Meet & Greet to make sure they are compatible. Astro has amazing recall and knows several commands, including sit, down, and stay. He walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys spending time with his human. However, he does require an experienced owner who understands his breed.  If you're looking for a smart and loyal companion, Astro is ready to meet you!   ***   Give Astro a chance  with our Foster-To-Adopt program ! ***   All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Adoption Process
We have a 1 page adoption form. We do home visits on all of our dogs. Our adoption fee is $80.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats. That includes spay/neuter and vaccines.
