Meet Numble

Never was there a wider, happier grin than the one on 2-year-old Numble’s face! At 65 pounds of pure, sweet affection, he loves curling up on his foster mom’s legs to get pets, turning over for belly rubs, following her through the house just to be near her, and even dragging his whole body across hers when she’s seated on the couch. As active as he is affectionate, friendly Numble enjoys engaging with other equally friendly dogs, taking one or two walks a day, honing his leash skills along the way, playing fetch and tug-o-war, chewing rubber toys and squeakers. On walks, he lets people “boop” his nose, a gesture he greets with ease, while at home, he loves frozen Kongs with peanut butter and frozen wet food, most treats, particularly chicken jerky, and although he may not always know his own strength, he always accepts treats very gently. Motivated by food and love, nimble Numble currently knows “sit” and “leave it,” sleeps in his bed in his foster mom’s room through the night, is at work on his doggy manners and crate training, and is almost fully house-trained. Now all Numble needs is a loving home, preferably with a securely fenced yard, possibly another playful pup, and patient adopters to perfect his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
