General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Personality | Gigi is the happiest mama dog there ever was. She LOVES all people and dogs!! She has the best labby personality and sweetest disposition. If you are looking for the fun puppy personality without puppy behaviors then Gigi is your girl!!! Story | Sweet Gigi and her three puppies were saved from being euthanized in a high-kill New Mexico shelter. The shelter was out of kennels and they were next on the list. Thankfully MHLRM secured a safe place for them to stay and she's now made her way to Colorado for her next adventure!Other Dogs | Gigi LOVES other dogs!! She has lived in a home with a pitbull mix and let her snuggle on her puppies without any issues. She loves playing with her foster siblings since arriving to Colorado and will happily share toys with them. She'd love a forever home with another dog but is cool being a solo dog too! Cats | Unknown.Children | Loving, gentle, and sweet. Gigi has a heart of gold and loves all people, including kids.Training | Gigi has been doing great with training!! She knows her name, is house broken, knows sit, shake, and mostly there with come when called. She is well-mannered, treat motivated, and eager to please so is very easy to train! She does not mind the crate and knows to only chew on dog toys. Leash | Gigi loves going on walks and walks relatively well on a leash with a front clip harness but will pull if she sees a or a !! Activity Level | She loves to play, go for walks, chase a , and is always ready for an adventure but will happily snuggle up for a nap once she gets her wiggles out.Health Notes | Healthy. Gigi is up to date on vaccines and will be spayed soon now that she has weaned her puppies. She is heartworm NEGATIVE!Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
