Upper Rio Grande Animal Society

We are a small rural nonprofit corporation operating an animal shelter. We are in a low-income area of the state of Colorado. We take in strays from local law enforcement agencies and individuals. We also accept owner relinquishments. The Upper Rio Grande Animal Society Conour Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe environment for the shelter and care of animals in need, and for the prevention of cruelty and abuse of all animals. It is our pledge to nourish the relationship between companion animals and humans through education, media exposure and readily available information and assistance.
