Pet Adoption League of Gem County

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Meet Buster (Shy Black Kitty) - Adoption Sponsored

Meet Buster!    Buster is a short-haired kitty who has more brown in her coat with white on her body. She is about 7 years old. Buster was surrendered back in July 2022.  She has been here for over a year. She has made tremendous progress though and is showing lots of improvement. She will hide if you startle her or she doesn’t know you. She will stay out in the open in a quiet environment. She does love her wet food and treats. She loves to be petted as well. She loves to stick her tongue out and can often be found like that. She’s doing so well and is ready to find a new family to give her lots of love. Please be patient if you come in to meet her and she doesn’t initially show interest in you or even stay out. Please come in on a Tuesday or Saturday if you’re interested in adopting her.  She will warm up and has lots of love to offer you.
