Happy Paws Kitten Rescue

Happy Paws Kitten Rescue is a licensed organization dedicated to care for, provide medical treatment, and re-home homeless, abandoned, and abused cats in East Tennessee. We are also dedicated to promoting proper care of animals through community education and to strengthening the human-animal bond. All of our cats live in a cage free indoor environment. They are fed a grain free diet and get lots of love and attention. We spoil our fur babies. For every cat that is adopted out, it opens additional room for another life to be saved.

Meet Onyx! Hello there—my name is Onyx, and I’m a one-year-old, strapping young gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m all about nighttime cuddles and daytime pets—I’ll happily remind you when it’s time for attention, because I’m quite the vocal guy! You’ll always know where I am, whether I’m chatting you up or chasing my favorite toy (the bug a.k.a. the laser pointer—my ultimate nemesis). I may do well with other cats if introduced slowly and properly. Younger children can be a bit scary for me, so a home with kids aged 6 and up would be just right. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and talkative companion to light up your home, I just might be your guy. Fill out an application and let’s see if we’re a match!
