Found as a tiny baby at just seven weeks old, Deera faced the tough challenge of severe eye injuries that necessitated the removal of both her eyes. Now blind, she navigates her world with caution, relying on her other senses to explore and adapt. Despite her initial shyness, Deera's playful spirit shines through, revealing her bravery and determination. This special girl would thrive with a buddy or guide animal, providing her the companionship and guidance she needs to feel secure and confident. Deera is ready to bring warmth and joy to a loving home, proving that her lack of sight doesn't dim her bright and beautiful soul.
Adoption Process
Cats are advertised on FB, shown at Petsmart 2148 in Oxford MS. Applicant fills out two pages adoption application. Call landlord for approval, check vet references, interview applicant. Applicant pays adoption fee ($25-100), picks up animal (carrier required). Animals can be returned at any time to us, no time limit (even after years). Follow up phone cal, txt message or email. 24hrs waiting time for approval to ensure it is not an impulse buy.
