Meet Ash

  Ash is super chilled, kick backed and mellow; he is the black residue after being burned out! Ash's favorite activities are hiking through the yard, exploring bugs in the grass and unstructured creative play in nature along with his human companion. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Ash has been witnessed playing with other cats especially littermate Midnight. He should do okay with a cat-friendly dog after a proper introduction. Ash has a black coat with a white locket and white belly spot. As of December 2023, Ash is 8 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
