It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Pumpkin! Pumpkin is a beautiful 1-year-old female orange tabby who was recently surrendered to our Daviess County facility. She’s gentle, affectionate, and gets along well with other cats. With her warm personality and stunning orange coat, Pumpkin is ready to bring comfort and companionship to her forever home.If you’re looking for a sweet feline friend, Pumpkin could be the one for you!Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.org!All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
