It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Pepper! Pepper is a gorgeous adult female tortoiseshell cat with a striking coat and a calm personality. Weighing 11 lbs, she gets along well with other cats and enjoys a peaceful environment. While we’re still learning how she feels about dogs and kids, Pepper is content lounging in quiet spaces and soaking up attention on her terms.She’s available for adoption through our Daviess County location.Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.org!All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
