We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.
Hazel is a short-haired dark tabby with a short tail. She was returned after no longer being a good fit with her adopted family. We recommend against dogs. She was brought back due to reacting strongly to a dog being introduced into the household. This reaction included not using her litter box and showing severe signs of stress. She’s cat friendly and apparently did good with older kids (12+) in her previous home. She is still hiding part time in the shelter but is starting to adjust and settle in. She does love affection if you let her adjust to you. She loves pets and gives head bumps. She’s turning into a sweet girl and will continue to adjust. Contact us today and ask more about her or stop in to see her today!
