Kindness For Cats Inc

We are a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing a temporary nurturing home for homeless felines and actively trying to find permanent loving homes for same. We work closely with Orange County Animal Services, volunteering in their foster program as well as participating in other volunteer activities with them. We also seek to educate the public in regards to the problem of pet overpopulation, the benefits of spay/neuter and general cat care.

Meet Ivy

Ivy came in at just three weeks old but she’s grown into a stunning little kitten! Out of her litter (she is being fostered with Auggie and Willow ), she is the first to greet you when you walk into a room and while she is the smallest of her litter, she is the bravest and most outgoing! Ivy is affectionate and loves attention. She will purr up a storm as soon as you pick her up. She enjoys playing with toys and with her littermates. She is friendly with people and very curious. She gets along great with her littermates, and would do well being adopted with one of them (particularly Willow, who complements her personality the most). They can frequently be seen cuddling and napping together. If you are looking for a spunky, loving, and fun kitten, Ivy is perfect! Adoption is $40.00 and includes the spay(neuter) surgery, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing.  To meet this kitty please email her foster mom at: [email protected]. Cats and Kittens are always BOGO and 2 kittens are twice the fun and no more trouble, she’d love to be adopted with Ivy! Please share with us where the kitty will be living and with whom (children, other animals) so we can know a little bit more about you.

Adoption Process
Most of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and must submit the form in person at OCAS directly. The adoption for these animals is $40, one of the requirements is verification of pet policy if the potential adoptor rents. The adoption process for animals owned by KFCI is similar but adoption fees vary depending on each individual animal; however we try to keep the fee as close to $40 as possible even if our expenses were significantly more.
